Call for opens and IBIS related patent disclosures:

  - Done

  - TBD

- Greg update AMI checklist items 2.1 through 2.3
  - No report

- Mike ask Lynne Green about AMI model review
  - Done
  - No AMI models have been submitted so far
  - Lynne noted that the divide between EE and CS majors may be an issue.
    - The parser could at least check for the existence of DLL files
    - Lynne suggested a few possible quality checks
  - Bob: The checks are performed confidentially by individual EDA vendors
    - Models from IC vendors are not shared with other IC vendors
  - Mike: It would be good to use this valuable services
    - Maybe an issue is that the reviewers are unknown

- Mike add descriptions to AMI checklist
  - No changes made

- Mike add QUAILs to Mantis
  - No progress

- Bob conduct tests of parser behavior for test keywords
  - No progress

New items:

Bob: Greg sent email about the samples per bit issue:
- Mike showed Greg's email thread
- Bob: It can be a problem if two models have different requirements
  - Greg believes that would be a problem
- Mike: A least common denominator rate can be used
- Bob: There can be some bad combinations though
- Mike: A quality model would not need samples_per_bit

Mike showed the AMI checklist:
- Mike: Where would a samples_per_bit check go?
- Bob: Under Usage, maybe accuracy

AMI checklist item 2.5:
- Mike: This is about the same as 2.4
  - Tools should keep these separate now anyway
- Anders: The tools do not keep them completely separate
  - They use fixed file names
- Mike: Is there a BIRD about loading extra DLL files?
- Anders: Walter has one about instance IDs
  - Also support files

Next meetings:
- Next meetings Oct 11 and Oct 18

Oct 11 agenda:
